Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces in a single layer and sear for approximately 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer the partially cooked chicken pieces to the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and caramelized.
Remove from the oven and drizzle any leftover marinade over the chicken bites, tossing gently to coat.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve with toothpicks and extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
